Update...3-6-23---I want to refinish this gun. Any recommendations, besides those saying not to do it?

I’ve searched online and not found any mention of any marked as this one.
Also, does anyone have any info on the bolt?

You have a receiver that was bought from the MAC bankruptcy auction when they folded from Marietta after they moved from Powder Springs. It was finished and registered by RPB. It's called a RBP double stamp.
The bolt is a cast and chrome plated.

I am aware it is an RPB overstamp, but I’m curious about the markings on the right side of the receiver. They seem a bit unusual

What exact markings are you referring to?
My RPB over stamp is just like yours.

Thank you. I did not see this mentioned elsewhere in my internet search.

Cool. I never knew some had the 308 typo. I’m looking for a M11 and I’m adding that to the list of must haves.

I have the Mac Man book. It is a great book. I couldn’t find the info on the “CAL. 308 SMG” marking covered, but I may have overlooked it.

The guns were originally stamped Ingram M10 or M11 and Powder Springs. Ingram needed money to expand and he sold controlling interest in his company to a Banker investment group called the Quantum Group. Those Bastards forced Ingram out of his Company and removed his name from the guns. After Ingram and Werbell were forced out the guns were stamped MAC 10 or 11 and Marietta Georgia. It looks like when yours was stamped they reversed the 8 and 0, interesting! I wonder if RPB screwed up the stamping after they bought the receiver flat from the bankruptcy auction or if MAC did it. I don't think it will increase the value but a good conversation piece.

It's cool to see one that was not fixed. My M11 has the mill mark and corrected "380."
