It was on a thread the other day of storing ammo in the garage. I did a search and found some info.... Accurate powder said that their powder starts to break down in temperatures above 122 F. Pretty warm but for long term storage should be in a cooler place.
BTW also did a little more looking and IMR listed the flash point for their powder to be 160-170 C converts to 320 to 338 F. Interesting... Didn't think it would be quite that low... I know people talk about cook offs.. Don't know if it ever happens in pistol calibers but it is possible in F/A C/B rifles... I guess the barrel takes pretty much all the heat.. The chamber does not get as hot. Wonder during a cook off if it is the powder going or the primer?? I would say the primer would be cooler...
