Hello,
New member, thanks for admittance.
What IMI UZIs were imported by someone other than Action Arms?
Serial number is 1,XXX. Legit piece? History? Thank you.

Interarms, some company in CA imported IMI receivers and everyone and their brother in law built on those. Mossberg, I am sure some FFL dealers did limited importation direct, because they can.

Thank you. This one is converted to Full-auto. So I assume it was imported before 1986? Phoenix conversion?

Action Arms is the only company that imported complete semi-auto UZIs. NHM Co. imported IMI receivers, and Vector did modify the markings (including serial numbers) on some of them, but that was after 1986 so they couldn't become a transferable full auto. If you post pictures, we can give you a better answer.

Springfield Armory also imported a few IMI UZI Pistols.

Welcome to the site.
The only non-AA Uzi with just the SN 1XXX that I can think of would be an FN factory Uzi--- a few transferable and rare.
Are there any letters that go with the SN (e.g., G, GMT, IDF, MSA, N, PTU, RMU, VAR)?

The 4-digit SN (and no letters) is throwing me off.
