I just received my Southern Tactical built Galil SAR. Im pretty happy with everything except one issue. It has terrible trigger slap. It is to the point that it is not enjoyable to shoot. Iv seen on YT people grinding down a tab on the disconector i believe. Is there a replacement trigger group available to purchase to solve this issue if i wanted to go that rout? Sorry i couldn't find this issue answered anywhere.

Usually trigger slap in an AK is one of two things. In a stamped gun a bad rivet that is too tall can interfere with the rear tang of the disconnector. Some cut the tang off and others shape the rivet.

Do you have another FCG or disconnector from any ol AK you and swap in and try?

My Galil doesn't have this issue. I'll have to look at my FCG in the AM.

I dont have one yet but would like any recommendation on who sells one that fits the milled receiver of the Tor tort. I heard mentioned online that
Red Star Arms used to sell one but dont see one currently available on their site. Id prefer a FCG that doesnt require modification if possible.
