Just an FYI,
Eric at Lakeside Machine (the GURU at Belt fed 22LR's, he makes the miniature Tippman,s) will be showing off pictures and a video of his new Belt Fed 22 LR M16 upper.
The pictures and video are awesome. He will be making them public at 5pm CST Friday 11/26/2004.
Check the link below at that time:

I wish Eric all the best. He is obviously THE man to make this happen.
I urged him to do this project at this past Fall Knob Creek which was just this past early October.
Well in under 2 MONTHS he has the prototype done, looking great AND WORKING!!
Who needs an American 180 if this comes out...which I think will be soon!!

So you've had a pre-view ?

Somebody at the Creek also urged me to ask Eric about it.

Oh wait... that was you!

Yes, I have. I was asked by Eric not to share w/ anyone. I am a man of my word so I have not shared them.
It is truly a work of art and came out looking absolutely AWESOME!!!

I cannot wait!!

I can definitely see this as being my favorite M16 configuration!!

Think about the market he has for this thing!! Semi and FA owners.
His Tippmans were all Post Samples and the Vindicator is just semi.
All of us w/ M16's can have "unlimited" capacity w/ this upper burning up cheap 22lr.

Yes, I have. Many times. I have 3 friends that have them.
Still would rather have a belt fed 22lr.
In fact, one of my friends just put his up for sale on the boards after hearing about this.

amphibian, did Eric give you any indication what the price might be, +/- $500?

Those of us who are financially challenged want to start selling blood now.:D

I think he is thinking around 1500.00 Still VERY WORTH IT!!!

Heck it's going to be a 'must have' item baby!

MD, I agree it'll be a must-have! I was asking for a guesstimate price range of plus or minus $500. Since Eric's Vindicator goes for $2k, my hope was that the upper would be about the same, +/- $500 (i.e., somewhere in the $1.5k to @2.5k range).

If they are under $1.5k I may buy a matching pair ... if they are closer to $3.5k, I may have to wait awhile....;)

Is this going to be acceptable for AR15s as well, for thos of us who don't have a '16 yet?

Eric is the MAN!:D This will be a must for everyone who has a full-auto AR-15/M-16. Maybe Ceiner will drop his mag prices, not!

Here we go again with AR prices.
