I was sent these pics by a Gunbroker seller and he was wondering what firearm these were for. Maybe somebody knows.

He said it's not for a Ruger 10/22 or Ruger .44 carbine. He was told it was for an Uzi but I don't think so.

It's collapsible with an FAL-like carry handle.

Any ideas?

I like it.

No clue.

I bet Mitchwerblesghost knows......He's into all that era stuff.

Looks like some slamfire abortion.

The clue should be those indents on each side towards rear.

Top choices

SKS
Mini 14
30 carbine
Unless it fits some shotgun

Looking at the rear of the inletted area makes me say M-1 carbine ....but I don't see how it would actually be retained in the stock

I think you are correct. I forwarded some of the links to the owner. If it is what it appears to be it will soon end up on Gunbroker.

Thanks.

Agreed. I found an advertisement for this that indicates all the 'cocking' mechanism does is just that - it doesn't turn it into a single shot. So weird.

It's now on Gunbroker: 976184927

I only know about this because I bought something from the owner, who asked me about this. He bought it as part of an auction and doesn't have anything but the stock.

I remember those from way back. The Maxi-14 actually had a bit part in the B movie :Warlords of the 21st centuary

That was a great project and sadly .......

It needs to be reinvented to get around the stoopid new laws for OR and WA.

THis is the get around......Not sure when it was invented...FukN genious.
Find a cure for an AR , AK ,SKS,

I'm not sure this stock design would be helpful re: OR and WA. All it does really is allow the op rod to be pulled by the slide on the forearm, kind of like a shotgun. It's still semiauto after that..

Disable the gas system (removable gas plug, etc), and it would no longer be a semi-auto.

I recall seeing a pump-action AK pattern gun back during the Clinton ban. It seemed like a novelty, but we might be seeing more like these being made for the liberal states.

An alloy "chassis system" for $59. That's less than my drive-thru tab with the rugrats today
