870 Wingmaster ser # and year question...

I have 5 Remington 870 Wingmaster shotguns in either unfired or fired very few times condition. Tried going through the Rem site for info and couldn't get anywhere. These are the weapons and serial numbers. I have been told they were early 70's or late 60's. Would like to know their age and value.

I tried to date two Mossberg 500's and had no luck. Called Mossberg about one with a stuck action and after the rep helped me with that I asked about dating and she said they don't keep records. Then she asked for the serial numbers and gave me the years for both.....guess they do keep them but just don't want to advertise. I say call Remington and see what they say or look at these links.

In that book it says your best bet if you want to know when your gun was made, is to call Remington and run the serial number by them.

The problem I have is that my barrel says 6D, upside down Y and F..... makes no sense.
