40 rd g3 mags

Hey guys,

Im gonna take a stab at making some welded together G3 steel mags. Can someone who has a RDTS welded 40 rd mag get in touch with me? I have some questions regarding critical dimensions.

I just bought a pallet of blue dag ammo to shoot the piss out of and I can only find 20 rd mags on the internet, I don’t like drums.

I have a long-term goal of getting this blue DAG stuff to run in my RIA 1917A1. I currently have my '17A1 running in 30.06, .308, 8mm, and .22lr. Now I need it to run is the blue DAG stuff. Here's a pic taken of my buddy with the '17A1 on the day we got it to cleanly run .308 ammo.

What I have found was that that the blue DAG ammo fits a 30.06 Browning '17/'19 bolt cleanly.

An Hk21 would be cherry and you’d probably be the only guy to ever do it. The 51 would be a flame thrower.

The DAG ammo is great and it WAS the only bargain ammo around .

Tried to stockpile it but it seems to be gone now. When buying 10 k lots it was 16 cents a round.

I would love to do 40 round dumps with my 51 clone !

Good luck! I've got a DAG setup I tested that kinda worked. Even ran suppressed for a few rounds, but overall wanted to crumple the plastic cases.
