You guys ever bench rest your FA UZI? What kind of groups do you get?

I started working on accuracy with my suppressor.

I was getting 3" groups at 25 yards by propping on wood blocks. Kind of awkward.

What kind of groups have you gotten from your full auto UZI?

My Vector Uzi with Vector .22 kit is extremely accurate. I could not believe it. I'm popping balloons and ringing bells easily out to 25 meters. Kids love shooting this setup.

Interesting question. Guess I'll have to bench and shoot paper. Often shoot 8" steel plates at 100 yds. Not every round hits, but alot easier than the G19.

I can hit targets at 1,000+ yards, iron sights, during Cat 5 hurricane.

Can I sell you a bridge in Brooklyn?

I did some accuracy testing on Sunday. Vector UZI full auto with Aimpoint H1 on stormwerkz mount.
Shot in semi-auto mode at 25 yards.
Just informal, but used a front rest and rear sandbag.
I shot some 125 grain conical lead handloads w/ a max charge of unique powder.
some 124 gr Federal fmj
some 147 gr. speer fmj flat nose. (why the AF do they make flat nose fmj ammo?)
There was plenty of operator error. It was hard to keep myself from pulling the trigger too hard, because I always go full-on-full-off when I shoot full auto.
I got decent groups in the 4 to 6 inch range. The gun will doubtlessly shoot better than that.
The hand loads shot best, the 147s were also good. The 124 grain Federal ammo was not accurate in my gun.
It occurred to me that I should find an accurate ammo and stick with it. The point of aim changed an amazing amount.
My gun will absolutely not shoot CCI aluminum case ammo. Jams constantly.

the target says 124 speer, but it should say 124 federal

look at that vertical stringing on the 147s. that's just bad technique. didn't have the gun settled into the bag good enough.

How many shots does it take to hit it and how big of a gong is it?
My club has a 200 yard range and somebody laughed at me saying it couldn't be done. Proved him wrong.

Single shot only. Very repeatable. Not sure what size, I would guess 12-18"

200 yards is pretty far for a 9mm coming out of a 10 inch barrel

people would be apt to doubt that you can regularly ping an 18 inch plate

I'll have to give it a try

115 gr should have about 36" drop at 200 yds, that'll be beyond the adjustment range of most optics and well below irons so your aiming point will be somewhere well above the target. Walking it in would be tough also as the weapon would obscure your impacts. Subs are even worse with about 51" of drop at 200 yds.

What the long range iron sight handgun silhouette shooters used to do is stand the front sight up taller in the rear notch.

you can even find revolvers with little lines on the front sight for that

The UZI rear sight has a 100/200 adjustment. I would think that shooting 200 meters would mostly be "firing for effect", just keeping the bad guys' heads down.

200 meter aperture will get me right on a 8-10” gong at 100 yards easily with what seems like any 124gr mainstream fmj.
