Hey Guys,
I have a registered bolt Uzi that has run flawlessly for several years. Last three range trips, it will fire 2 or 3 rounds then a failure to fire occurs. When looking at the brass, the FTF round has no primer strike but has a mark on the lip of the brass covering about 1/8th of the lip. I'm running out of ideas, and any insight would be much appreciated. . I have tried the following, but it has not remedied the issue.
1. Removed lower, adjusted top cover where the bolt moves freely when rocking the receiver back and forth.
2. Changed the top cover to rule out others.
3. Tried three different barrels, all with the same result.
4. Tried four different ammo types, 115, 127, 147 & 158
5. Used different mags.
6. Checked front barrel nut for tightness.
7. Changed recoil spring assembly.
8. Verified that the trunion is welded and not loose.
