I have a MK7 with an 8" barrel and want to shorten and thread it for a suppressor. Somewhere in the past I seem to remember that some pistols with 4" barrels had a different buffer and/or spring, but I am not sure. Does anyone here know for sure?
Any experience with suppressors using various barrel lengths?
Thanks

The Mk7A uses the same springs with 8” and 4” barrels.

Only the 4” barrel and subsonic ammo were intended to be used with a suppressor.

I’ve never seen a buffer in a Mk7.

Don’t know about the Mk7C (semi-auto).

Thank you for the info.

Any ideas on where to get a barrel and the plastic stock?

You can convert a Mk4 barrel. I am sure John Andrewski can do it for you. He might also know where you can get a plastic stock. You will also need a spigot endcap if you don’t already have one.
