Hi All,

I finished putting together my Uzi last week. My bolt and top cover gap is .035 inch. I need to shrink the gap down to .010 inch.

What is the correct process to shrink my Uzi bolt gap?
Should I file #1 tab or #2 tab or both?

Thanks,
Cal

While you are measuring the gap squeeze down on the top cover, if it moves down and tightens the gap then it is not bottoming out on the area you are calling tabs. Place your top cover on a table with a block of wood under each end and smack it down in the middle with a rubber hammer till the gap is what you want.

If in fact your top cover is hitting the tabs, get a measurement off of a real UZI and then adjust your tabs to match.
