Looking for competent smith to remark UZI

I contacted Richard @ BWE but he's backed up like 7 months. Does anyone know of any other competent smiths that can remark a RR Uzi SMG (It's papered on F4 as "UZI") Id like get the IDF markings if possible too. Thanks

If it's already an NFA registered firearm, you are very limited (legally) as to the amount of remarking you can do

Thats why people have the markings on their HK's changed from SP5 to MP5 prior SBR'ng them .....cause you can't remark it after....

Consider doing it yourself? I get stencils from this outfit http://www.img-electromark.com/
Send them your artwork, text and/or logo, and they'll make you a stencil (actually a super-fine silkscreen).
Have them put several on a sheet so you can practice on a piece of scrap first.
All you need is a DC power source (car battery charger set on trickle or even a 9volt transistor radio battery and a Q-tip for small jobs).
Etching solution is just tap water with a dash of salt to increase conductivity.
Tape the stencil down so it can't shift but can still be lifted to check progress.
Too much heat can damage the stencil so take your time. When you're satisfied with the depth of etch, just stop... no hazmat chemicals to neutralize or dispose of, just apply some gun oil to prevent flash rusting.

What, like remove 'Group Industries' on the receiver and replace it with 'IMI'? You can't do that. IMI did not manufacture the receiver, GI did and it'll say that on the form 4. Just shoot it and enjoy it.

I was going to ship a M11/9 for some work. Had a few rust spots. It's impossible to ship it yourself. You're going to need a FFL/SOT to do it for you. No USPS or UPS for an uzi. Apparently if its a large (not concealable) gun like a M-16 you can do USPS (registered mail would be the thing to do). FedEx told me they won't do it unless you have a FFL/SOT prepared shipping label. So find a FFL who will do this for you.

I ended up concluding fug it and buffed the spots out with brass wool and applied some grease. Spots were on the mag well behind the Lage upper.
