Looking for some help on this. My father recently passed away and left this MAC 10 to me. I am trying to determine exactly what it is, PreBan? 9mm or 45? Resale Value? etc. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. I'll attach a link to some pictures, hopefully they come through.

S semi

9mm Double feed mag

Leatherwood Texas mac in semi. Look at garand style safety.

Open it up and take pics. Probably an open bolt semi which is slightly more valuable Bc you can theoretically convert it to FA easier (illegally).

Preban, Texas closed bolt semi gun. They use some unique internals.....so it's pretty important it functions correctly.

Not worth as much as an open-bolt semi, but they have been climbing in value

I'd guess 700-800.00(?)

I'm sorry for your family's loss. That's really cool he left it to you.

I broke the gun down and took some pictures as can be seen in the link below. The bolt does not stay back with the magazine in or out and there is no marking on the magazine. I was able to get 26 rounds of 9mm in the mag but it got extremely tight from there. Thanks so much in advance for all of your expertise.

also it has a 9mm
Adapter

You could get a 45 upper and use grease guns. But you’d need a semi bolt.

Damn. You are right theduke. They must not know the Texas guns also have Ingram and Military Armament Corp. on the gun. But the seller added that it was closed bolt. That is more than most Open Bolts go for.

Thats almost 3 times what they normally sell for..... insane.

The winning bidder just dropped 3.5K on a KG-9 as well

Not My Gun.....

It was the OP's Gun.......the one this thread is about.

Yep same one ,same ser. # ,same pics.

Didn't seem all that special to me but perhaps the buyer just had to have it...

My reply was to your thread (the link), but I was talking about “his” gun as congrats.
