I just missed this, I emailed super fast after it was posted. was this a good deal? being refinished in an non-original color and finish type knocks off alot from original worth.

It was the one from josh,
the NUKEplant colt 614 US marked.
price dropped to 10500. he pulled the ad because he sold it.
nice gun except he refinished it in norell soccom black.

It sold fast because it was a great price. I haven't seen a Colt factory gun go for under $11.5k in a long time.

FWIW, a lot of the $12k-$13k factory M16s out there have been refinished, though most owners stick to the original Colt gray by Norrell. IMHO, it is so close in color that you can't tell it's not original finish without touching it or checking the bolt release.
