Anyone used the new AC Unity MP5 mags?

I've had good luck using the KCI Gen 2 steel MP5 magazines.

I personally haven't, but over on HKPRO board, people are saying they work good.

my mags buying days are over, and has been for quite some years.........I have a bunch of factory MP5 factory straight mags I bought for around 15 bucks ea.....as well as a 70 round drum I made :D

I bought the 30 and the 40. Had issues in full auto. Had some jams which seem to be issues with the follower tilting.

Was using wolf 9mm.

They are really tight in the magwell.

I have seen a bunch of people that I trust say they work well so not sure if they need to be broken in or something.

I wouldn't use other than genuine HK mags, they work every time. Distributors just got a new boat load of them dumped in this week so check your favorite HK vendor for stock.

HK factory mags are great but $70+ for a German magazine is more than I want to spend.

yeah, I remember back in 1999, 2000 when HK91/G3 mags where going for close to that much. fortunately, the CETME mags worked just as well in the CENTURY clones, and they were like 10 bucks ...............then a few years later there was a HUGE, HUGE dump on HK91 mags on the market and prices plummet to 1 or 2 dollar for NIW mags.

you should have read the belly aching and crying on HKPRO board when their precious mags they paid 60+ bucks for were worth nothing

........ a few despite members on there even tried to sell theirs for 30 bucks...............you could almost hear the crickets

I bought HK mags here and there over the years, got 10 of the korean ones back when Centerfire Systems had them 10 for 100 bucks. There was a deal on straight mags
at Numrich a couple years back so I got those as well. The only mags I have more of are Sten, bought back when they were practically free.
