Ejector Height?

In the process of cleaning my newly aquired Norinco 320(I know ,I know!)I noticed that the bolt has to ride up over the ejector a bit and its rubbing heavily in the ejector groove in the bolt. Should I shave it down so when the bolt slides over the ejector the bolt wont have to be forced up and over? The bolt seems to be rubbing on the top cover and I think this may be a contributing factor. Thanks!

I'd compare it to the height of someone else's before cutting it down. I can measure mine sometime in the next few days. Maybe someone else will have a chance to do it sooner.

The height of the ejector in my Model B is .301" That's measured at the point right behind the mag well - about in the middle of the ejector.
