I have built fal's but I am interested in building an uzi. What are the differences between a semi auto parts kit and a full auto parts kit? Are some of the parts interchangeable? Any information/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

i have a few questions.

how does the FA lower differ from the semi-auto version? other than a block welded in is there a difference?

whats the story with the 2 different size lower pins, 8mm vs 9mm?

how does the FA sear differ from the SA sear?

thanks,
mike

FAQ has alot of info. The lower needs to have a piece welded so the sear cannot travel beyond or the gun will "lock up", it also needs the hole drilled out larger to accomadate the larger semi pin. It's not a big deal. You run into problems with the bolt, barrel ..etc. which can run into alot of money. Well beyond what a new Vector semi for $599 sells for with a warranty.
