OK - Lets say you have a good Parts Kit .with Trunnion and weld parts intack. and you use the Uzi Receiver Repair Channel .To rebuild the reciver ,and put a shim in the Trunnion to take the semi auto 16" barrel .and add semi auto -receiver cover and bolt assembly etc. Know on the Lower - on the Trigger Housing by adding a semi auto sear .what more would you need to make it semi auto and how is this done ? all input welcome . Thank You, Conley

The big problem isn't finding a receiver IMHO but finding a decent semi-auto parts kit. Not many of the parts from the FA parts kits (most common) will work for a semi build. By the time you're done you will be close to a new Uzi from Vector. Few hundred more & you can have an IMI in pre-ban form.

No way can it be close to a new Uzi from Vector . the cost on this would only be under $500 - Vector reworks your SA trigger housing to semi auto - how do thay do it ? /please do not take this the wrong way - this is ,just to make use of a surplus kit. all input welcome -Thank You, Conley
