13x1 Tap & Dies for the Galil?

Does anyone know where to get these? I have searched several places.
All jump from 12mm to 14mm, nothing in the 13mm.

A while back I had Newman Tool in Canada make me one for threading a Saiga 12. If you have to go that route, I'd rent it out with a t.a.t., or barter it off when your done with it, cause it typically isn't cheap. They have a lot of metric stuff though, so you might try to email them and see if it's something they stock. If they don't have it, I'm sure they can make it.

Cant seem to find a 13x1 die anywhere.
Looked thru the Travers pages.

my mistake, the tap and die I was thinking of is 14x1. not 13mm . If you find a source I would like a tap also

Had the same problem when I shortened by 7.62 barrel, simply couldn't find one. I ended up having the thread sized to the same as an AR15 barrel (don't remember the size). It allowed me an endless supply of flash suppressors & muzzle breaks. Just a thought but you may just want to beak down & go that route.

the 1/2 x 28 thread is really close, I have just chased the threads on one of my GM bbls so I could use a vortex

13x1 is an real odd ball..Im starting to lean towards the 1/2x28 already. But I will countinue to search for them.

alright I found them , http://www.e-taps.com/ the part # for the tap is g130x100n3 they have 13x1. in a variety of diff types, bottom, start, plug etc
