Any JRA Gallant owners out there? I have wanted a Galil since I was a kid and recently picked up one of the JRA clones. I grabbed the shooters package version with the polymer hand guard/bayonet lug/bipod variant. I have to say that I am very pleased with it at about 200 rounds in. The fit/finish is awesome. I really like the Hebrew markings - nice touch. Would obviously prefer an IMI import, but at about 1/4 the price, it’s hard to beat.

Gen 1 or Gen 2? You can't beat the price....double check the headspace....alot will close on a NOGO out of the box, but are still OK as far as a FIELD GUAGE is concerned...but something to keep an eye on.

It’s a Gen II though I have no idea the difference.

The differences are in the receiver...Gen 1 was made by BULA, had a few issues with the selector hole in the wrong spot. I am not sure if Bula is making the G2 receiver, but it is easy to tell them apart...the lighting cut on the G2 looks like a milled AK, the G1 cut tappers slightly at the edge near the end of the cut
