Hallo All
I would like to fit a silencer to a Galil ARM 5.56 and
Discussed the possibility of doing so with
A silencer manufacturer. It seems this will be possible if the Galil has an adjustable gas block. I’m not sure if it does and appreciate
If someone knows the answer to this question. Thanks

Suppressing a Galil is just like suppressing any other AK.

Likely KNS Pistons are available for the Galil.

I know that the modernize 308 sniper Galil does have a suppressor mounted on it. Does anyone know how they make that work? Is there someone who makes a fake suppressor version of that?

This article is old but has towards the bottom some info on the original suppressors on the Galil sniper.

Suppressing Galil is not that hard. JMAC flash hider dead air mount threaded for Galil with a KNS adjustable gas piston and use a Dead Air Sandman.

No real knowledge of the Dead Air suppressors, but do know that the OSS Helix is recommended for guns that tend to get over gassed. IWI carries them & recommends them for the Tavors for that reason. Would probably also be a good choice for the Galil.

I understand the modern options exist for suppressing a Galil but my question is how was the actual Galil sniper silenced as it appears in the picture above? The Sniper has its own unique muzzle brake that is not threaded on the outside surface.
