I have a few NEW UZI parts I need the value of so I can sell, any info you might be able to provide on the grip frame would be apperciated.

1 New Stripped A R S grip frame, A R S marked in white
1 New IMI 9mm SMG barrel, original Israeli SMG barrel
1 New Ratcheting top cover, IMI
1 New FA IMI recoil rod, spring and base plate.

I'm thinking about selling these possibily as a package.

I was told the barrel is worth some $$$$$ because it is original factory IMI Israili.

Currently at TAPCO:

Complete grip assembly--- $54, bare frame---$23 @ SARCO

Barrel-- $30, seen upwards of $50 and $89 at other sites

Ratchet cover-- $30

Recoil rod-- $55 with the bolt, Bushmaster is $150 for the Bolt alone and $20 for the recoil rod.

Will be hard to try to profit on the parts, the market is awash in Uzi kits recently.

All of my parts are ORIGINAL FACTORY IMI directly from Israel. I was told my parts, especially the barrel was worth a heck of a lot more. These are NOT South African parts.

Uzi parts

From what I was told (unless I'm wrong!) botech only handles IMI parts for the UZi, they have a direct connection.

Tapco catalog states their kits/parts are IMI. The barrel in my kit has the same rifling and chrome at chamber as my real 16" 9mm barrel.

In reality, I think Class Three Supply is the IMI people, I think Botach only handles IMI ammo. Of course, I could be wrong, but you can try the www.imisammo.com , and go to the forum and ask, and hope that the IMI moderator will reply in this lifetime, as we are still waiting on the official word from IMI on the barrels that are rifled, and threaded internally at the muzzle, to find out if it is safe to use real ammo with the blank adapter removed.

First, Vector is the "official US service center for UZI's". They sell a variety of parts, including IMI. If you want a good comparison, call and ask for prices on those items. Their web site doesn't list them all, but it does list some of them. You are correct that new IMI parts tend to cost a bit more than most other manufacturers. Class Three Supply does have IMI parts as well, but so do a few others if you look around. Botach does have a few accessories, but not IMI parts as a rule. They get them like anyone else, but they aren't the major US importer, Vector is. Karl.

Uzi Parts

Rex at Vector being the one I spoke with that commented " I think Botech has a direct connection to IMI, this after they sent me the wrong barrel and they do not offer the chromed lined IMI like Botech does. Vector is the Uzi place, and Ralph spent big money for the Uzi K grip IMI made just for them.

You right, Botech works heavy with Galil and IMI ammo...but does have a ton of IMI for the Uzi. With over 400 IMI Uzi's in their inventory and mass IMI parts they are every bit as strong as Vector. They can get and anything they need from IMI as they go there quite often and deal with them all the time. Prices are some of the best that I have seen.
