Uzi Experts,

I'd like to put away an assortment of spare parts for my full size Vector SMG. I'd like to get a barrel, top cover, bolt, sear, small parts, etc. Anyone know where I can get genuine Vector parts to match the original parts in my gun? I don't see any on the Vector website..

Thanks,
Gunman

Vectors were put together using mostly IMI Lyttleton parts from South Africa.

See the little "P" stamped on your bolt?

That means "Pretoria".

You will not be able to get any more Lyttleton IMI parts but that's no big tragedy, you can get surplus Israeli made or German made IMI parts from a number of places.

You can buy an IMI parts kit from Numrich if you are OK with used parts.

IMI barrels are getting hard to find

I overdid it and bought 3 parts kits for mine - one from Numrich (I wasn't happy at all with the rusty parts), one from Robert RTG http://www.robertrtg.com/store/pc/IMI-UZI-SMG-PARTS-KIT-161p2826.htm, and one from Apex Gun Parts https://www.apexgunparts.com/product_info.php/cPath/73/products_id/3127. I was very happy with the kits I received from the second two vendors - the bolt and top cover on the Apex kit were unused and still had the white paint markings on them! I only bought the third set because I wanted the fixed poly stock and they didn't sell that separately. I've fired a few thousand rounds through my Vector since then, and haven't needed a single spare part. However, it's probably best to get a complete parts kit while they're still plentiful and relatively inexpensive.

Thanks for the replies and the links. Looks like it's a mixed bag for parts and barrels these days.
