Looking for a .45 extractor for my semi bolt.

US Barrel Shrouds has everything else I needed to complete the bolt but they didn't have any extractors in stock on their site.

D and D Sales shows that they have some BUT are close 'till September... I hope everything is ok with them.

I have done searches and searches and come up with nothing, and I am the type that "loves the search" and can always seem to be able to find "it", but this time I find nothing.
There are only 9 places that sell UZI parts to begin with and none have an extractor, and one is closed down.

I found one place, can't remember the name, but I'm not paying $85 for it.

Anybody have any ideas?

might be a part you need to look for for 1.5 years until it shows up again...

I have a couple put back and I don't even own a .45 Uzi.
I wouldn't take $200 for one of them if it was offered.
My point is that if you aren't willing to pay $85 for an INTEGRAL part, maybe you should consider another hobby?
Now maybe tomorrow someone will tool up to make them? Maybe at a lower price? But in this biz, tomorrow is usually yesterday.
If it was me, I'd bite the bullet and buy the $85 part, while its still available.
No offense intended...just food for thought.
YMMV

At the (IMO.. crazy) $85.00 price for the extractor, the price of the other parts plus the $100.00 for the bare bolt from Vector. I might consider calling Bret back and ordering the completed bolt from him.

I bet Vector would sell you a 45 extractor cheap. That's all they have right now. They're grinding them down to be used in new 9mm Uzis. My 9mm carbine ran a lot better when I swapped it for a real 9mm extractor!

AH after doing the search just now on Gunparts, I see that I had checked them 2 days ago , and just like 2 days ago there isn't a .45 extractor listed within the 6 pages. :bang

The direct link that ogree posted shows one but I wonder if they are actually in stock.

Anyway, we'll see.

Thanks everybody, love this place.
