Where can I get AK47 Bolt carrier?

I've been google-ing for a bolt carrier to use w/my Galil SAR .223 so far most of the online store are out of stock. If they do, prices are in the $100+ (includes the piston w/c I don't need).

Anyway appreciate some help. Thanks

A standard rommanian AKM carrier should drop right in if you cant find one. I put a Galil carrier right into my Romanian Ak with zero issues.

When you get the AK Bolt Carrier you will have to remove the AK gas piston and put your Galil one on it. Not on tight but a little slack when screwed on and drive the pin back in. I don't think that you will ever regret the change to an AK bolt carrier, I sure don't on mine. Would never go back to the original.

I just used a roll pin in mine. I also use e clips to hold in all my fire control pins. works GREAT and easy to remove and install.

I got an M70 carrier from APEX and it did require a little fitting to work. The channel that the bolt lug rides in needed a little Dremeling to allow the bolt to rotate smoothly. Also, the pin for the gas piston was soldered in and needed to be drilled out. Despite the above mentioned issues, an AK carrier is one of the best mods you can make to your Galil if you have a scope rail installed.

And I have ordered the night sights from John and headed for the Post Office for a money order this very morning. Why do I want night sights ? Because there are available and my Galil/Golani, deserves the best ! If I had the $$$ I'd send it to Tenngalil for the Hebrew Markings and checkout of everything, but it has no bugs and I love it !

Would the polytech bolt carrier be a better match to my galil original piston w/o modification (ie dremeling or filing). Just a drop in?
