what to do with 41ae bbl?

I saw a thread on here asking about shooting other calibers thru the 41 ae bbl, cant seem to find the thread now , but it got me thinking, what do you do with one of the 41ae bbl?

I have one that came with my gun many years ago but recently picked up a spare , I havent seen affordable ammo , is there a use for the bbl outside of saying you have one?

I reload 41AE and shoot it out the barrel!

Run a reamer in the chamber to 41 Spl/Mag (revolver cartridge), add M3 mag (45 lower) and 45 bolt, might be able to make it run ??

Or buy a load of 41 Mag brass, and have tool & die cut a but to run the bases down to 9x19 dimensions, and trim to length for bootleg 41AE brass.

What if some enterprising individual,made up a true 40 caliber barrel liner and rechambered the barrels to 40 S&w or 10mm auto? That might be a decent solution.

Troy will sell you a 40 or 10 barrel.... I have a 40 barrel for my UZI SBR..

Troy has tod me that he is out of 40 caliber baarel blanks right now and it may be a while before he gets some in.

they make realy good punches for removing ak barrel ,,,,, tape pennies to end so you dont mar chamber in ak barrel

Is there anyway to make these barrel for a custom gun?
Have several barrels and 200 rds of brass.
PBB let me know what type of project we can come up with; a generic pistol or carbine rifle.

Well..... why not convert it to a full auto barrel ?

Nothing says Capitolism and excessive consumption than being able to shoot .41 AE in full auto.

I hand load for my 41AE. I bought brass some time ago. It is a nice cartridge, even at full auto. I think Starline was making it. Plus I had a case of a 1000 rounds from Samson.

I forget the powder charge, but the discontinued Remington 170SJHP left the UZI barrel right around 1300FPS. The 210 Plated FPs only move out at around 950.

However, I could use a few extra magazines at a reasonable price.
