I bought a railed top cover for the full size and can't decide what optic to put on it. I'm thinking either aimpoint acro P-2 or the aimpoint micro. Anyone running theses? If so what mount are you running and at what hights? Thanks

A Burris Fastfire as well on a topcover built by Richard from BWE Firearms. I love how it co-witness with the iron sights.

I used to run an Armson OEG that came with a Model B semi-auto that I bought years ago at a gunshow. I have since upgraded it to a 1.5x15 Mini-Acog mounted on a MM04 adapter. I would love to find another one of those adapters. I have another ACOG for it. They have long discontinued that screw pattern on the mini ACOG's. I also just got a Weaver Quick-Point for cheap. I have yet to shoot it. Old school tech, why not?

I was the first to do these and Richard copied me. Not that I had a patent or anything like that though.

These days, I run the same thing but moved to Holosun's with the circle dot reticle.
Interesting to see how much movement there is during firing with the high speed camera:
But that is really nothing compared to being mounted on a slide.

I still have an ad somewhere in the Parts / Accessories section but it may have rolled off by now.

Some would consider it excessively bulky, but for about the last 20 years, an EOTech 511. I'm still very satisfied with it.

I normally use a Primary arms SLX 2.5x32 prism scope on a StormWerkz rail for my full size Uzi carbine. No issues regularly hitting a full size silhouette at 200 yd.s. with 115 gr ammo.

My favorite type of mount.
How does one get one of these from you (assuming you still offer them)?

As you can see in the link I posted, I no longer want to deal with re-finishing. Back in the day, people could send me a topcover fitted to their receiver, then it would be TIG welded and parkerized and then molycoated if desired....way too much time and effort to do all that.
That takes way too much time and I don't want to deal with people asking me when I am going to have time to sweat my ass off to sandblast and parkerize something. No thanks.
So now it is just a TIG welded topcover with a universal mount and you deal with refinishing. I'm not dealing with trying to color match...what a headache.

I have an Aimpoint H1 with 4MOA mounted on a StormWerkz picatinny UZI scope mount.

Works great. You have to tilt your head slightly more upright because the red dot is a little higher than the front sight post.

But that doesn't bother me any. if you get a decent sized optic, you're going to have that.

I also use a black plastic IMI buttstock instead of the folder. Pretty comfortable setup.

That's what I was thinking about running. Do you have any pictures of it? I got my Top cover from StormWerkz too.
