Well this is disturbing

I bought a new HK V9SK. Took it to the range, 200 flawless rounds. Nice pistol, fits my hand perfectly.

Take it home, strip it down, clean it. I'm wiping it down with a small rag and a very small 1/4" long roll pin just magically appears on the rag. What the hell? I stripped the slide off and looked at every hole I can find and see no missing pin anywhere.

I can only hope that it fell into a cranny during assembly and was therefore not needed. But....

Very disturbing! Roll pins that magically appear cannot be trusted. Sounds like a post ban model masquerading as a pre86. I personally would not have one in my possession...:goofygrin

Sounds like a call to customer service will lead to two weeks without the gun and a free magazine for your trouble.

Sounds like something I would use as a slave pin while reassembling a firearm with a tricky spring, probably got stuck somewhere in the lower and went unnoticed. Can't tell you whether or not the firearm is safe to take back out unless I could hold it in my own hands and have a look.

Perhaps the roll pin was already in your rag?

Check the weapons you most recently used it on prior to the HK.

That's way better than a disappearing pin, or one that shoots across the loor
