I FREAKIN' love this upper!

Richard graciously redid the Glock magwell for me because I was consistently a little "over vigorous" in my mag insertion. I remember buying my first mac after seeing Lage's Max-11; this really is the pinnacle of the Mac upper and it has so many perfectly thought out features. I guess that what happens when a real shooter who has a true knack for design AND production makes iterative improvements!

Guess I will chime in. I have about 1100rds through the upper in about 3 weeks. I have to say it is my favorite Lage SMG upper to date. It is smoother than previous uppers as the bolt never bottoms out(well it does with hot +P, +P+ ammo). Its lighter than previous uppers. Dont have to think about pulling singles and groups well doing 3-5rd burst. Looks like Im in the minority on the Glock mags. I like the magwell, just don't like single feed mags. Pain to load and I am 50/50 on remembering to bring a loader with me to the range. Push button mag release is nice and easy to reach. Does not seem to be as much recoil spring pressure on the bolt so the trigger pull feels better too. ROF does not seem to increase with a suppressor either, shooting 147gr. Shot a mixture of ball, FP and HP and all fed fine. I was a little worried about them feeding from the suomi stick mags, but they all fed fine. Thats not saying HP and FP will work in yours, just that they have fed fine in ours so far.
Only thing I would like to see in the future would be a longer "SD" type handguard as I like to put my support hand way out front and I think it would look cool with a can on it that the forend swallows up some .

I keep at least one Lula mag loader in the ammo can that I store each of the four 9mm subgun mag systems I have. That way I have the loader with the mags. I started with all four of the mag loaders in with the current box of open 9mm, but that was a lot of loaders which were easy to misplace. I found having the Colt 9mm mag loader in the box with the Colt 9mm mags was easier to keep track of. I wish my 9mm subgun systems all used the same mags. I spent some cash making all of my 5.56X45 machine guns all use AR-15/M16 mags.

The VERSA 12 will fit an RPB M11A1 SMG.

They have worked fine for me out of glock mags, suomi drums and coffins. FP have been a little iffy out of suomi double feed stick mags.
