I'm thinking about buying a Mini. I keep my FS FA set up pretty much in .22 and shoot the living crap out of it. Anyhow, the mini seems like its the ultimate incarnation of the Uzi SMG. I worry however about parts availability. What do you guys think, it seems like Mini SMG prices are kinda down. I see guns in the low to mid sevens now. Lord knows I got a shitload of Uzi mags. Will this justify my aquisition?:silly
P.S. This is my last MG (I swear), so I better make a good one, huh.

Last one... yeah, right.

You're correct that parts are probably the biggest concern but it's not really that big an issue. Barrels are not a problem and the lower (including the fire control parts) are the same as a full size, so no problem there. Spare top cover and bolt would be the biggest issue but the truth is you'll most likely never need spares.

Ok I'm officially talked into it. However, I've heard that getting the barrel 3 lugged can be problamatic do to the compensator cuts. I can figure that out later though. Probably have the dinero beginning of JAN. Hopefully, the prices will remain flat till then.

If you are going to purchase one, get one of Amphibian's 3 lug barrels if he still has any for sale. I would suggest buying one today if he still has them. They are the best 3 lug set up for a Mini I have seen.
