After having lurked here for some time I finally decided to purchase a Vector. Got a great deal and it is now at my dealer awaiting my form 4 approval. Thanks for all the info. Can't wait to shoot it.

BTW just got off the phone with Vector today. Has anyone purchased/seen their SBR HK type rifles? Those things look really neat, I understand there is a waiting list for them. Also they aren't selling any of their .22 kits from what I was told due to a bad batch having been received. The sales lady told me at least a couple of weeks or so before they will have some good ones in. Great company (how many others would just sell the bad kits and leave the consumer in the cold?). Also no more green furniture kits (real bummer for me as I really wanted one).

sigfla, welcome to Uzitalk. I'm glad you decided to join us. Congratulations on the purchase of your Vector. You're going to love it.

I don't have one of the Vector V-53's but I've been seriously thinking of getting one in SBR. I've heard nothing but good about the gun and Vector has a lifetime guarantee on them. I've got a registered HK sear so an SBR V-53 would be very fun.

Let us know when your form 4 is approved and the fun begins!

Welcome to the board sigfla, and congrats on your purchase! A friend received his V53 from Vector a little over a month ago and it runs like a top with his registered sear. I got some trigger time and was very supprised at the slow, (read controlable), rate of fire. Nice gun.
