UZI stock on an M-11?

I'm sure I'm not the first to think of it, and I'm still quite a newbie to the platform but I've never seen an M-11 with an UZI stock ... Of course there are lots of other stock options and UZI stock isn't light, but it seems like a natural adaptation.

Before giving it much thought I bought a nice UZI folding stock on GunBroker for $41 delivered and it seems like it would fit with a adapter and a bit of trimming on the grip ... Does anyone make a M-11/UZI stock adapter?

As you can see this is a semi and I was just using it as a model for a transferable auto I have inbound ... I just bought it so who knows when I'll actually be able to bring it home ... I might SBR this semi but I haven't decided.

No experience with it,but I've seen pics, so it should mechanically work.
Length of Pull and Sight Alignment may or may not be a problem

Imho, why SBR the Semi when you have a FA inbound? You'll have the FA before the SBR Paperwork clears.

Couple things, first I haven't bought an Uzi stock or priced them in a long time but I think you paid too much. If I'm wrong I should look into to selling a couple of mine. Many Years ago maybe Uzi stock might have been a good option for a M 11/9 but there are so many better options out there. Take a look at some picture threads on this site or google m 11/9 and look at pictures there. The folding Uzi stock isn't that good of a stock so I'd recommend against it unless you just like it. I would prefer the original stock to an Uzi one. I have an AR stock adapter with an adjustable AR stock for 1 M 10 and an old wooden Cobray stock for my other M 10. I haven't changed my M 11/9 due to mainly using it to shoot 22 and keeping as light as possible for when I let the kids shoot. For that purpose the wire stock is good. The Uzi stock blocks the grip when shooting as a pistol and line of sight is bad when using as a rifle.

I did what I should have done in the first place ... put the Google machine to work ... there are indeed a ton of stock options out there!

sniperdoc - I'm not sure if I'll even keep the semi once my f/a comes home but if I do, the LAGE upper is heavy enough that it would benefit from a stock ... the f/a is from out of state so it will have to be transferred to my dealer before I can start my paperwork but it also has a LAGE upper ... I doubt it will be in before a Form 1 clears if I get it in soon, but after seeing what's available on Google, I may just buy an adapter and but a brace on it for the interim and call it good.

100 bullets - You didn't say what you think the UZI stock is worth, but I shopped around a bit before I bought it ... there were cheaper stocks out there, I could have bought 2 for $45+ shipping, but they were rough and I wanted a nice one ... also my thinking was that if I didn't use it on this project that I'd put it in my box of stocks which also has such jewels as a Sten stock and my original FN 249 collapsible stock ... from other projects that didn't come to refutation ... thanks for the heads up that the sight alignment is less than desirable which is something I wasn't sure of after seeing the dramatic angle of some of the stocks!

I've also got a VZ58 side folding stock in my box of stocks ... if might work if I use an optic ... but I'd still need an adapter so I wouldn't have to make any permanent mods to the receiver :bang

Uzi stock/M11

Here's one I made last year for a customer. Worked pretty well but odd?

Now if you want something that's comfortable to shoot with a good cheek weld... Well, there's a reason why I prefer the solid wood stock when I'm shooting my Uzi.

:thumbs_up

But if you're going for a certain look, I say go for it. It appears there are a few examples already shown above. After all, if the A-team can do it on a MAC10, you know it's got to be cool.

Yeah I used to drool over that stock, but it doesn't make sense on an M11A1. You can do it but make sure it's rigid so you can slap it like an uzi.

LOL ... I love the way he's using the butt stock as part of the grip on that UZI-MAC ... Only in Hollyweird!

If the A-Team can make the mini14 cool, they can pull anything off!

I've found a lot of different adapters thanks to y'all here and the Google machine ... USMG has a couple, I kind of like the Stormwerks unit, im starting to lean to the VZ58 folder ... But at the same time something I can use to put a brace on until I get my F1 stamp, IF I go that way. There are a couple except for the price, but quality is rarely cheap!

Part of the fun is exploring the options ... I'll keep looking and y'all can keep them coming too!

In all fairness a full auto ac556 is pretty fucking cool all by itself.

I find the VZ-58 stock just a tad high for use with the OEM irons. I can still use em if I really squish my head down though. Should be about the correct height for a Max-11 Mk1.

I like the VZ stock too and have one I put on a Zastava M92 AK.

Did you make your adapter or mod something that's available?
