Hello all,

I am considering converting my Uzi Pro Pistol to an SBR configuration (with an approved Form 1 of course), and have been scouring the interwebs for 922r parts. So far, I have found the following:

TitleII MFT style stock (1 part)
U.S. Barrel Shrouds threaded barrel (1 part)
ASC follower and floor plated from Colt-pattern mag (It appears these will work with some fitting - 2 parts)

From what I've read, there is debate as to the total parts count for the gun and what constitutes an operating rod. I contacted IWI yesterday and they did confirm that gun is entirely foreign-made.

All of the threads I can find are from 2016-2018.

Has anything new been offered that I just haven't found yet?

Thanks!

Those three items are enough even if you count the operating rod.
However, I would try to find a US made sear, US Barrel Shrouds sells them but is out of stock, and replace the TitleII stock with the correct IWI stock which is now available.

Excellent. Given that I do not possess the stock (obviously), do you have the OAL given that stock application?

does 922 even count against SBR's? I thought as long as you started with a pistol (which isn't regulated by 922) then filed for SBR, you were good to attach a stock afterwards?

Good question. YOU are the "manufacturer", so it's "manufactured" in the US

The ATF has clarified this (as much as they ever clarify anything) that 922r does in fact apply to SBRs. Thus all the 922r kits for the CZ products (Bren 2, Scorpion etc.). That company even pressed the ATF for a parts count on the above firearms, given how popular they are (the Scorpion in particular) to SBR.

Now, this could all change at any minute, because, well....ATF. That said, I always err on the side of caution. Can of worms, (hopefully) closed.
