UZI Pistol Sling

I have an UZI Pistol that came with a sling the question is the way it attaches, it has 2 holes on each side drilled and tapped in the front trunnion for the mount. Was that an option or was it done aftermarket? Has anybody seen this style before?
Any info will help.

Nothing on it at all. I guess someone had an idea that worked since all the holes are lined up right

UZI owners are pretty resourcefull. It looks pretty well done but my guess is that someone had a wild hair one day and wanted to have a way to carry the pistol over his shoulder. Or perhaps diagonally over one shoulder and under the other so it hangs under the armpit. It's anybodies guess as I have never seen anything of this sort advertised.
