There's a video of Bustoff wielding two FA Glocks with his homemade drums on YT. Mike was a great asset. He made a custom Glock drum for me years ago. Then BetaCo came out with their own. I wonder if anyone knows how he's doing?

FWIW, Beta Company is no longer in business:
Yes... I didn't want to add that in my post as these days you never know day to day. People are in and out of business daily it seems. I'm sure the patents expiring didn't help, an already niche market. Interestingly, I've used the KCI Korean drums in my M16 and they ran flawlessly. Lotta memories of Beta drums...personally it makes me a bit sad to see an era pass away.

I documented the difference between the Vector and C&S drums a long time ago and it is on my website: https://c3junkie.com/?page_id=498
As mentioned on my site, my Vector drum was never as reliable as my C&S.
All that said, I rarely ever use it as I really like using my extended mag release for fast mag changes and the drums interfere with them.

I mentioned on my site how the C&S drum would keep up with the faster cyclic rate of my Mini UZI and I think that was in closed bolt which I've clocked over 1500 RPM. This is where a drum really shines at that high of a cyclic rate having double the capacity really helps when you also have more than double the typical cyclic rate. However, I really don't like cyclic rates that high either. More of an occasional novelty.
Are any of those extended mag releases for sale? Just wondering.
