I got about 14 of the 25's and they don't run for crap. They all have a ftf at least one per mag. What should I do, I have had them about 19 months and just got around to trying them. What should I do?

Not to be a smartass, but why didn't you contact them to make it right before you bashed them on a public forum. You might get better results that way......:buttkick

You've had mags for 19 months and didn't use them? Sounds like a serious problem...

Are they the South African "S" marked mags? That's what I've typically seen from DS Arms. Generally they work pretty good. The ones I've seen from DS Arms were caked with grease. Did you clean the insides of the mags really well?

Seriously, call DSA. From all I've heard about them, they'll make it right. Oh, and 19 months....you are a stronger man than I.....

I had a similar problem with some Uzi 32's a while back. I bought them and didn't try them out for close to a year and I had problems with most if not all of the mags. I didn't even bother to contact the seller because after a year I wouldn't expect them to do a thing. If I sold a part, new or used I'd have a difficult time with a refund or exchange after a 90 days, muchless a year or 19 months.

The only exception would be if the mags/parts have a life time warranty.

Not bashing DSA. Duh. Asking a ?

Do you here me say anything about dsa in a negative way? No. I got lots of other mags and just now got around to shooting them since it took 14 months for me to get the gun thanks to some dealer in Texas being so slow. I only got through the ordeal by buying accessories. I know it has been a long time since the purchase that is why I asked "what to do". I think I will call dsa tomorrow. I just wanted assurance I guess. If I were them I might be reluctant after this amount of time.
These are kinda green looking and were full of grease like cosmoline stuff. I eventually took them apart and ran them through the dishwasher.

I purchased a bunch, (10 or so), new in cosmoline, 25 round Littleton mags from them maybe 3 years ago, and they were HEAVILY packed in cosmoline. If thats the case, disassemble and clean these mags before you pick up the phone. ALL my mags ran great, but if yours don't, DSA has given me some excellent customer service over the years, and I'd bet they will exchange the mags for you, but, a refund after so much time has elasped may be expecting a bit much...

I'm assuming all your other mags run well?

I'd clean them in mineral spirits aka charcoal lighter. Cosmoline doesn't wash that well with water esp. since it's intended to be water proof. :buttkick Take the mags apart, soak them in solvent and get one of those wheel washing brushes from the autoparts store, you'll need it anyway, and scrub them out with the solvent. Relube with CLP or smilar lite lubricant, not WD-40. They only need a film of lube, not dripping wet so wipe them inside & out with a cloth before reassembly.

I bought some 40-rounders from DSA months before getting my gun. Once I got it, I noticed some didn't fit. They exchanged them with no questions asked and no reciept. DSA is an excellent company. All the FAL stuff I've bought from them has been primo.

As other say, there's probably nothing wrong with your mags except dirt and cosmo (which attracts dirt). Diassemble them and soak them in a 50-50 solution of hot water and citrus degreaser (try the Zepp stuff sold at Home Depot for $8/gallon). After soaking for 30 minutes, all the goop will come off using an old toothbrush.
