I’d like to have my 10.2 inch barrel cut and threaded for a suppressor if anybody knows of a Gunsmith that does that I’d appreciate the link. Troy at barrel exchange is the best but I don’t think he does threading work.
Thanks
Mike

Daniel @ Halcyon Defense cut down my 10.5", threaded and then installed a tri-lug on it. Fantastic work!

Regarding 3 lugging the UZI barrel this is how I do it:
Picture below is for my MEAN Arms barrel but I do the same thing for the UZI.

Picture below of the lug adapter that was NOT threaded the entire length....you can see the amount of hard fouling that has accumulated after the threads.

Would your 3 lug Uzi barrel conversion be compatible with a Omaga 9k suppressor.?
Thanks

Yes, assuming you have a 3 lug mount for your Omega. All 9mm 3 lug mounts (barrel side) should adhere to the HK 3 lug prints.
So they should go into any 3 lug mount on the suppressor side.

Now .40SW / 10mm / .45ACP is a different animal. I know Griffin Armament cloned the HK MP5 .40SW / 10mm 3 lug mount while Silencerco's .45 / 10mm mount does NOT match HK's.

Pictures of my new barrel that Amphibian did. He did a super job and the turnaround time was great. I thank him.

Damn, that's nice. I think I'm gonna need a three lug for my Uzi now. :D

What brand adapter do you have? I can't identify it by the markings.

Are all adapters more or less the same? I don't know much about them since I wasn't into suppressors until just a few months ago.

I used a Kaw Valley Precision adapter for Mike's barrel 1/2-36. Back in the day, Gemtech used to recommend using 1/2-36 if new threads needed to be cut as it gave the barrel more strength vs the more common 1/2-28. So I do 1/2-36 for the 3 lug adapters threaded the entire length and use red Loc-tite for a 'permanent' installation.

Back in the day there were a couple sources for 3 lug adapters that were threaded the entire length. I have not seen those readily available anymore so I just extend the threads in the adapter to go the entire length in the lathe.

OK,...you have my attention. If I supply barrel and nut, what can I expect to pay?

This isn't the classified section so I'll send you a PM also....I guess I need to post a WTS AD later but I am running short on 3 lug adapters so I'll do that when I have a good supply.

I signed up for the same, but mine arrives tomorrow or Friday. I'm expecting it to be similarly excellent.

Mr. Amphibian did three tri-lug barrel setups for me - Uzi, Sten Mk. II, and S&W 76. Great job on all of them and a blazing fast turnaround time.

I have to test fire the SW barrel to confirm function (it’s Green Mountain barrel I haven’t shot yet) and then I can finish installing the tri-lug adapter.

Amazing work, fantastic turnaround time, excellent communication, unbeatable price. Amphibian is A+++++ all the way.
