Finally got a chance to send a few down range. Function tested it on safe, semi "a couple of rounds" like who wants that, then FA a lot LOL. Conversion performed flawlessly with both park and blue GG mags. Who needs stink'n 16rd's when you can have 30rd's. Lots of 30rd's. If anyone is thinking about getting or already has a 45 acp conversion you need one of these units from Chris Humphrey's. This goes double if you own an M-10 in 45acp. You can contact him at Steelman3rd@aol.com Thanks Chris for making such a solid and reliable product. Now I just have to figure out what to do with the stiffy it gave me.:allright

I think that last sentence made it so we're gonna have to delete the post as being pornographic in nature. :lol Karl.

I'm putting together my list of wants (read needs) and I really want a .45 conversion kit.

Is Chris' $299 conversion just for the lower? Will I need to purchase the Vector conversion to get the barrel and bolt? :confused

Texasvwnut, the grip conversion is the lower only which will allow you to use 30rd GG mags. You will still need a 45 conversion kit for the barrel & bolt. The $300 price of the grip conversion is a bargain if you look at it from the cost of the 16rd IMI mags. Say you get 10 IMI mags @ $50 each = $500. Or you get the grip conversion @ $300 + 10 GG mags for under $150 = $450 and you have doubled your loaded mag capacity as well!

40rds of 40S&W fit Greasegun mags

I have 1 of the mag conversions on order, If you bend the very tips of a M3 mag in about 1/16" it holds a 40S&W, 357SIG or 10mm in perfect alignment for my conversion barrels and still handles the 45acp.

I have been able to pack 38-40 rds in the mags I have. (single feed mags make the conversions work 100% modified bolt or not.
