They just changed the law here so that now any firearm that resembles a full auto is now also considered a full auto. Look at s 8(1)(aa) in the below link:

Cops have now seized my semi auto:

Uzi (open bolt)
Mac 10 (open bolt)
Uzi pistol
Tec DC9
Tec 22
AB10
CZ91s Skorpion
AK22 Krink

oh, and my Glock 17

No buyback this time

Not really much choice when a National Registry is permitted to be implemented.
