By my understanding up north stuff like 40mm etc was not reguled at all pretty much if so was just treated like a normal gun .. Thinking was that a. you cant get the non training ammo so no big deal and b. snow control ... Problem is by banning them and also banning some large bore rifles ..Ie by bore size and joule of muzzle energy they also manged to ban a lot of very high end big game rifle and possible some normal sporting shotguns .. Ops

Also note the scary part AR uppers are banned ....Not just lowers uppers

As of last I heard turn them in when you die prohibitied class on all the stuff ..Meaning you will prob never take it out of the safe or fire them again now ..As I think you need a permit to transport them to shoot ..which is never issued

That's a pretty good way to disarm the public. That way no one fights back, and the next generation doesn't miss what they never had....

Those humans voted for their government by majority. Sad they chose less for themselves.

According to the Wall Street Journal there are 2.2 million firearms licensees in Canada and of those licensees the Canadian Government estimates there are 90,000 “restricted” weapons in Canadian hands.

According to data from Canada’s national police, there were 2.2 million firearms licenses in force. Officials said it was unclear how many of these license holders would be affected, but estimates there are 90,000 firearms allowed under a restricted basis would be affected.

It seems odd to me that in a country of 37.5 million people that there’s only 2.2 million firearms licensees and only 90,000 restricted/ assault type weapons in circulation.

I would bet we the U.S. has 70 times that number in AR 15’s alone.
