Hi to all. I have RPB Mac 10 9mm that Sam did the Uzi conversion on and I'm thinking of getting a Lage slow fire upper for it. I have a couple of questions. Will it work the Uzi conversion and is the RPM adjustable. Any of you guys have this setup? If so how do you like it?
Thanks Mike

Love mine. it's worked perfect so far.
I sent my converted bolt to Sam and he drilled the holes for the Lage weight. Then I sold the stock upper with the unmodified Lage bolt minus the weight to offset the cost of the Slow Fire Upper.

The rate of fire is not adjustable. No big deal. ROF feels just right to me.

I don't think I have ever seen someone running a Lage upper with a stock stock.

Can a person unbolt the weight and change it to a different weight to change the ROF? Or can this only be done changing the bolt?

Um.. No, you can't. There is only one bolt weight and speed for the MAX-10/9. The heavier steel bolt weight of the MAX-10/45 reduces the speed too much and causes short stroke problems.

The MAX-11 on the other hand can run with three different bolt weights.

My brother has the same set up with a RPB M10 with the Uzi grip and a Lage upper. His bolt is at PS. Sam is machining the extra clearance required for the Uzi mags. I also have a RPB M10 with the Uzi grip. I'm lucky enough to have a S.A.B.R.E. upper, so I'm going the TASK slow fire route. For me, that just makes sense. Lage makes a quality product. Even with the hole in my receiver, I'm planning to eventually get a MAX 10/9.
