Thanks Shade. Glad you like it!

Just a reminder that if anyone would like to share their feedback on amazon.com, please feel free to do so. You can enter reviews there even if you don't buy through Amazon. (Signed copies have to be ordered directly through me.) Your reviews on amazon help spread the word!

Dave - I just want to say that this is the single most fascinating book I have ever gotten my hands on. The chapters are so riveting and informative that I can't even slow down to look at the pictures and captions. Once I finish reading the book itself it will be like having another book to read - going back through looking at all of the pictures and reading the captions.

I do have an admission that I actually ordered the book on Amazon since I had a gift card I recently received. I hope that you still get as much back in your pocket from Amazon sales. In any case, I will be ordering a signed copy or two direct from you for Christmas presents this year.

Thank you very much for this great book to go along with your fantastic website. I have been a long time lurker, though I don't post much. The Uzi has always been in my top 5 favorite firearms since I was a kid. I remember my Dad training with Dutch soldiers in Germany (he's a retired US Army tank commander) and seeing those guys walk around with their Uzi's on post. It was quite a site seeing Dutch soldiers with Uzis at Popeyes! I think that's where the Uzi obsession started for me. I have been lucky to have quite a bit of trigger time behind the full autos at this point, which I think has just made my passion for these weapons worse.

I'm hoping that at some point in the distant future I'll be in a position to add a full auto next to my Vector semi (my wife is awesome and got it for me this last Christmas).

Thanks again, Dave. Your hard work is appreciated.

Glad to hear that you're enjoying the book so much. It makes all the effort worthwhile when people appreciate it this much. Don't forget to write a review on Amazon!

When you want signed copies, just order from my web site and drop me a PM letting me know how you want them inscribed.

Thanks for the feedback Hoss. Very much appreciated!

You are very welcome Dave. Oh I finally got around to it and also added a review on the Amazon site of your outstanding book! It was easy to do, sorry I hadn't gotten around to that sooner. Hope it helps!

No joke- this was a major effort! I'm stunned at its scope and detail- a lot to take in but a pleasure to look at.. beautifully put together & well written. I hope it sets the standard and someone writes a MAC equivalent??? Very impressive man, you've written the Uzi bible!

You know about the book "The Mac Man" by Frank Innamico and Don Thomas, don't you? It should be just what you're looking for. You can order copies here.

He's also a uzitalk member who willingly signs copies like yourself if you order direct from him.

I know you know this Dave, but it seemed best attached to your comment:)

I know of it, I just never got around to getting it and hadn't thought of it in a while. I'll pick up a copy, thanks again!

"Hey..." hit the nail on the head!

I just saw Forgotten Weapons review and headed straight over here to order a copy.

Congratulations Dave!

It has to be amazing to see your labor of love come to life. A hardy "Thank you" for your dedication to bring this to us. It will definitely be a great addition to my Firearms library.

Slight almost thread related hijack...
My wife made a few bookmarks for the release of Dave's new book. Several members already own one and can attest to the quality. The new book is awesome and deserves one of these.

It very much, it's difficult to put it down. Just so much

My book showed up in the mail today. :hyper

I've only leafed through it so far, and on the illustrations alone, all I can say is WOW! This book is beautiful. (Too bad the Post Office dropped it on one of the corners.:pissed )

This book will fit nicely in my collection of small arms books.

Dave, thanks again for all the hard work :surfing you put into this book.:thumbs_up
