Dave - I just want to say that this is the single most fascinating book I have ever gotten my hands on. The chapters are so riveting and informative that I can't even slow down to look at the pictures and captions. Once I finish reading the book itself it will be like having another book to read - going back through looking at all of the pictures and reading the captions.
I do have an admission that I actually ordered the book on Amazon since I had a gift card I recently received. I hope that you still get as much back in your pocket from Amazon sales. In any case, I will be ordering a signed copy or two direct from you for Christmas presents this year.
Thank you very much for this great book to go along with your fantastic website. I have been a long time lurker, though I don't post much. The Uzi has always been in my top 5 favorite firearms since I was a kid. I remember my Dad training with Dutch soldiers in Germany (he's a retired US Army tank commander) and seeing those guys walk around with their Uzi's on post. It was quite a site seeing Dutch soldiers with Uzis at Popeyes! I think that's where the Uzi obsession started for me. I have been lucky to have quite a bit of trigger time behind the full autos at this point, which I think has just made my passion for these weapons worse.
I'm hoping that at some point in the distant future I'll be in a position to add a full auto next to my Vector semi (my wife is awesome and got it for me this last Christmas).
Thanks again, Dave. Your hard work is appreciated.
