It took some time for Ian but finaly it is on Forgotten Weapons.
By 2023 the pistol will be on exhibition (at no cost for the museum) in the "Grand Curtius" weapons museum in Liège.

Also, i read in the comments that several peoply are angry at the police.
They should not. The local police guy putted his job in the line to warn the owner that he should not turn it in and should contact at least a specialist as it looked odd to him.
Lucky the owner took it serious and received my coördinates.
The only problem was that i needed to decide on the spot, with no back up info to buy it or leave it.
The owner got a 4 digit price. In that amnesty period a normal FN1900 or 1910 or 1905 or Baby would go something like 50-150$. I took a serious risk and it took some time to find out what i bought that day.
And yes, it is worth a lot more today but hey best thing is that i saved it from the shredder. Kuddo's to that police officer. He didn't ask for any award, he only wanted, just like me, that importent things would not be destroyed.
A few years ago the FN plant museum guy (Mr Sauvage R) contacted me to buy back the pistol. We had an agreement but then a clusterf$ck on situations happened. First, elections and a world record to get a new government. They are serious stakeholders... By the time we had new ministers, a new FNboard, new export licenses and so on, Mr Sauvage died on cancer... Then, Covid came in.
So i need to start all over. But, good news. The Liège firearms museum was very happy to get it for free in an exposition, planned for 2023.
We start from there.
