Not sure who has seen this but Fleming Firearms has got ATF approval on the new Fleming Nato Carbine (FNC) http://www.flemingfirearms.com/

This is a new rifle that the FNC sear can be legally installed. I'm not sure on what cal conversion are available but this could open a new market for the FNC sear.

What standard AR parts does it take? I'm assuming buffer tube, stock, pistol grip, and hand guard. But what about the barrel and bolt carrier group?

How do we know it even takes FNC sears? Doesn't say that on the website.

Same question I have. I can't find anything on this being able to 1) Physically have a S&H FNC sear installed and/or 2) legally being allowed to be converted to a transferable title II using S&H sears

Not saying it's not true, just that there is no source sited or additional information. Just looking at the pictures, it does not appear in any way to be a FNC clone or "FNC type rifle". Also, it would be odd as well, because a FNC type rifle can't legally be called a FNC...

From ATF ruling 2008-1 http://www.atf.gov/files/regulations-rulings/rulings/atf-rulings/atf-ruling-2008-1.pdf

Held, the upper assembly of the FN FNC rifle is the receiver of the firearm.

Held further, in the event a licensed manufacturer in the United States
manufactures a new firearm that is substantially similar to the FN FNC rifle, it must be
marked with a model designation other than “FNC.”

In the past, the ATF has said then FNC sears can only be installed in FN FNC rifles because there were no clones. I'm hoping it's true, but everything else I know about FNCs and the ATF causes me to be skeptical.

The pins for the FCG are in the exact same place as an AR15, how could it possibly work with an FNC sear? This looks like nothing more than an AR platform rifle. The thing that's weird is how the upper is the "firearm," and it's called an FNC. Seems pretty coincidental.

Hmm okay, I still think we are being trolled though.

Why? What motivation would Travarmy have for trolling anybody?

If you look at the picture of the Fleming Nato Carbine, the lower clearly has a raised section to accommodate the placement of an FNC autosear above the mag release.

Not necessarily the OP trolling us, but possibly him copying and pasting from somewhere else. I'm not sure how the FNC sear works so you might have a valid point about that part being raised. It just seems weird that A) the pins for the FCG are in the same place as an AR15, which is a totally different system, and B) it mentions nothing about using FNC sears or ATF approval on the Fleming website. You would think that they would post that information if it was true.

I don't know man, it might be true but I'm not entirely convinced until I see some more information.

Subject: Fleming Nato Carbine

Hello,

I am interested in the Fleming Nato Carbine.

Will a registered FNC sear fit and work in the firearm?

Thank you,
Alex C.

Yes it will. We designed it with the S&H FNC conversion in mind. We charge $500 to install it.

Two words missing in any info provided on site or this thread, "BATF APPROVED".

Where is that claim?

I asked for more info, if that is not provided I will ask specifically. At least we know:

1. It was designed to take an FNC sear
2. It is about the same price as an FNC
3. They will install it
4. We aren't being trolled :)

I'll believe it when I see a ATF approval letter, You think they will let them install FNC sear in this and not in a scar, I don't think so
