My Amp-10 upper weighs about 8 1/2 pounds.
My lower and stock are about 3.5 pounds
A loaded drum with the ammo I use is about 3 3/4 to 4 lbs.
I was using and old fruit scale so I may be off A little.

So, as I watch the MAX-10/31 Prototype video yet again. I can't help but think that the beginning text of the video should really have been...

Well... we said we were not going to make one...
But, we lied... ahhahaha
Now give me your money... mawaahahaha :evilgrin

Good old Richard. Thanks for creating another product I need to have.

Too early to tell. The bolt would have to be significantly lightened to make a "k" version. The bigger problem is the tooling cost to make 5 or 10 specialty uppers.

I would definitely get off the fence for a K. I already have a M11/9 but it just seems too long with the Max31 and I already have a Mk1 upper.

Is the MAC 10 /31 shorter than a M11/9 with the Max31?

If a shorter version got the ROF up, that would be a plus in my book. I find anything under 700rpm to be a bit slow unless its a rifle caliber.

If you could get the MAC10/31 shorter and keep the ROF at or under 900RPM, I would be all over it.

I agree on the ROF, my sten is ~600 and it's too slow. 750-800 or so would be perfect.

600 RPM is perfect for me. maybe offer a speed bolt or VBS for the guys who want faster.

Any new pictures/updates? the 11/15 prototype has more videos and pictures, and this one is coming to market sooner.

The first production run will probably be 50. What we typically do is have a first article machined, inspect it, assemble it and test fire it before proceeding with a production quantity. This all happens within a day so the CNC mill is not left sitting idle.

Mechanically, the top half of the MAX-10/31 is identical to the MAX-31 mk2. The bottom half is identical to the MAX-10 mk2. The bolt is a modification of the MAX-31 mk2 bolt to make it wider at the bottom to make contact with the sear and trip.

I hope there are 17 people out of the first 50 who don't buy theirs. Yep, I'm #67.

I'm #42 and the money is already in the savings acct waiting. Well, an estimate since I'm not sure what the cost will be...
