Do you enlarge the gas port in the barrel and also the ports on the gas plug?

Any tips on SBSing these as far as a good barrel length? Is there a length it can be cut too without having to do additional gas or other work?

I kept waiting for that sale but finally gave up waiting

I was dubious about the quality but it’s impressed me. It’s higher quality than the price justifies (so far)
Pm me. I can send you a bunch of pics along with specs.

This is my favorite. It’s a sewing machine. Takes 1919 pattern mags that are cheap as crap and drums. I have the trigger down to about 2lbs. I have it modified to take mini shells as well. 10.5” barrel.

For the Saiga 12, the MDArms drums were good and surprisingly the Promag ran great, too.
Yeah I've got some different ak style drums for my Saiga including the promag but they all have the feed tower molded into the drum as one piece , the ar style drums all seem to have metal feed towers that appear to insert into the plastic drum assembly. The ar style look easier to convert since there will be no cutting or chopping needed assuming there is enough of a mounting surface or lip so that plastic interface will hold up. If no one chimes in with a favorite maybe I'll order a ar promag to experiment with.

JTS M12 ordered. :) Alaska Shooter is a bad influence. You sick bastard!

Miss you Jake, but not in a gay way. Stop dreaming Chris.

Mike, do you make a drum to box mag adapter?

Yes. This is leading to some really bad stuff. When is the next UT meet?

Pro mags drums for the S12 work 100%
I have 6 of them.
3 12 rounders and 3 20s.
The 20s you have to reach around to grab the forend though.

I say it all the time.
Pro mag should change their name to pro drum.

I also like the steel CSS mags the 8 rounders are a nice size.
I also have the 10 rounders.

I need at least a 25 rd drum. The shells don't like to split up after living in the box. :)

I definitely need a drum. I was eyeballing the 1919 style drums at a gun store today

My buddy is bringing a 1919 stick mag for me to compare against the JTS mag.

The shotgun ran better with “other than slugs” today after more break in.

Buckshot ran very well and I had some limited success with one brand of birdshot

Trying to use other AR buffer springs and buffers didn’t yield any useful results

Got the models built, should be about 25 rounds and use an e&l winder if it works. Its a beast and barely fits my printers. Should take about 4 days to print it all. If I only had a trigger finger to test it :-(

Soooo cool.
Do you have a JTS?
I got my JTS M12 today. It's heavy. I think it's made from Chinesium.

Yeah, I got 2 of them a few years ago when psa had a $199 special. I used one as a donor for my m10/12ga upper but I designed that to use ak mags.

Tried to break it in today. 100 rds od S&B 00 on gas 3. Almost every rd has a bulge in the brass by the rim. Is that normal?

Nope. Not normal. I dont have mine in front of me, but I thought 3 was max gas. 00 should be on minimum gas or medium. 00 and slugs should be minimum, up to #6 should be medium. And light stuff for max.
