Hello,
My name is Dan. Bought this shit thing knowing the reputation. I want to try and rebuild it right. It fired fine for two sessions and the firing pin broke. i've had that redone by a machine shop. Not an expert on guns but i believe the buffer plate is starting to crack. The plastic piece in the rear that harbors the fire pin spring. Advise on if I can go metal, stock up on multiple plastics and who to contact. Pray for the free world, dan

I fixed mine last fall, finally. I sold it. I really don't think there is any,"getting it run properly" out there, it was just a poor design. Stock up on firing pins, they will break on a regular basis.

My pops bought the one Have now I remember him having problems back in the 1980s and sending it straight to the factory for repair to this day I cannot get more than two rounds out of it Consecutively but it was my dads so I can't even sell it. But if you do come Across anything to help solve the problem I'm willing to try to work on it. Keep us updated

Find some good mags. The aftermarket ones are all crap. I bought a couple of 20-round mags and they ran flawlessly for the 100 or so rounds I ran through them (I haven't shot the gun since). Prior to that, I couldn't get through a whole (32-round) mag with fewer than 10 or 12 malfunctions.

Dan-O,

Take pictures of the magazines (mainly back strap up by the feed lips) for us to examine! As Garrett said above ("aftermarket ones are all crap"), especially the 50 round ones. We may be able to help you decide to keep it or dump it. Again, you may have to experiment with the ammo, but at least we be able to tell you if you have bad mags.

Never Run 124 gr Nato ammo thru it.

I have some tec 9 mags but no tec 9.

one is stainless. Was gonna buy one for 300.00 a year ago but the guy's brother was hot on it.

He didn't want the two extra mags so I took them thinking I'd pick one up.

Never did.

it can be done, but paying someone who is capable will render the gun so expensive that it's an overal bad idea.

Isreali 9mm +P+ will finish off the plastic buffer plate in the back of the gun, and will eventially knock out the back end of the weapon! You should have a rubber buffer in there as well as the plastic plate.
