Recently bought a used KelTec CP33 pistol, it has a muzzle brake with external threads like they use to attach a suppresor to an AR15 or other centerfire rifle. Once the arm brace thing shakes out in the Courts I plan on putting the Farrowtech arm brace on it. "The poor man's MP7".

Anyways, by my calculations it should come to just about 16" OAL with the brace retracted, and about 10" tall with a red dot sight on it. Most of my "range toy" handguns are packed in the Midway "tactical cases", like this one:

Only $10, holds a gun and 7 individual mag pockets on one side, 2 large pockets on the other. Unfortunately it's a few inches shy in both dimensions to fit the CP33. Are there any other similar cases large enough to fit? I could grab an Uncle Mike's "subgun case" but it's larger than needed, I'm wanting something just big enough to store the gun in, spare mags, plus the mag loader, laser charger/tools, etc.

Anybody else got a CP33? I put one of these green lasers on it, the "notch" acts sorta like an angled foregrip. Had to drill a hole in the OEM M-Lok rail on the bottom, only a single slot. One locks into the slot as normal, the other one is threaded through the hole with a longer bolt and a nut on the inside. Takes a little juggling of things to get it tightened down, but works fine. Only thing I would change is the activation button. Hard to reach on the rear so I usually activate it and leave it on, versus a momentary tape switch which I would prefer. OTOH, it does have a pulse option so you get the strobe light effect if wanted.

Well, I have a CP33. The only handgun case that I own does not fit it. I just checked. I to have a outside thread muzzle brake, it is something like 1.5" long or so. could use something like this: https://www.harborfreight.com/3800-weatherproof-protective-case-large-black-63927.html

I mostly use mine just for gophers and dirt clods. Its fun. I got the mag extensions, which the mags seem just a bit more finnicky then its finnicky normal self with the extension. me personally, I kinda have a love hate relationship with my cp33... I think if I were to do it again, I would buy a Ruger, but I didn't, so now I just need a Ruger in addition.
