I was referring to them separately as the mechanical operation is different between say a rarebreed and a super safety. Yes, the SS is an FRT. The SS wont tolerate any bolt bounce. It will do hammer follow. I have only messed with a WOT (original rarebreed knockoff) and its only strongpoint imo is its relative insensitivity to bolt bounce.
So yeah, they are all the same concept. But iff discussing technical things it is best in my opinion to seperate them out into their trade names. A diesel motor is a diesel motor. But if we were discussing fuel systems, it would be good to know if it is a poppet, oil pressure, or piezo electric injection. And then the sub types of those. So just being pedantic for clarity.
I wonder if that could be due to how the trigger ear has been re-profiled.
